Case Diameters
The cases are built to be exceedingly generous in their widths. A 12" (bod12) case for example will readily accept a 14" x 4-5" drum with a nice 'snug' fit but not tight. This is why bodojo has assigned a recommended size range for each case rather than a strict sizing. Where a drum is deeper than 5" the extra width translates into flexibility in adjusting to the depth requirement.

Case Depths
The cases are a standard 5" depth which makes them slightly less deep than a drum such as an O'Kane. The 16-18" case does still fit a drum of this size, it causes the lid and/or back to bulge slightly but it does no harm at all. We hope to add a slightly deeper 16" case into the range in the near future.
Shipping
Prices excludes shipping. The cases are made of many layers of strong material and are quite bulky. They are light in weight, about 1.5kg for the 18-20". Based on the space it takes in a plane we are charged 'volumetric weight'. Basically it can be expensive on international freight. To reduce the size and the shipping cost we roll the cases as tightly as we can for shipping. It isn't pretty but it saves you paying unnecessary shipping costs.
